Whats Going On And Welcome To This

unboxing and review of this kicker 10 inch thin profile subwoofer. The subwoofer became part of my system right after replacing the stock head unit and I’m going to showcase it for you guys check out the video description for a link for more information the box that comes in is not much larger than the subwoofer itself inside the box. Aside from the sub you will find some mounting hardware tape behind the packing cardboard which may or may not be enough to secure based on your own application. The first thing you will notice when you get it out is just how nicely built and beautiful. This sub is.

I Like The Square Design Of

the cone and the red accents add a nice touch on the left side. You will find the terminals four wires coming from the amplifier you. Can look at the subwoofer very closely and not find a single flaw. I really wish it wasn’t going to be installed in the trunk Here. You can see it next to the sub that it’s replacing the Rockford Fosgate R2s nothing wrong with it.

I Just Wanted Something That Hit

harder, but there’s no denying that the kickr1 looks better. The kicker enclosure is about 27 pounds and it is sealed, which means the base will be tighter and hit more controllably versus ported enclosures which is exactly what I like but enough about the looks. The important thing is how it performs. This kicker sub is a 2 ohm sub that can handle 500 watts RMs that’s continuous power and it can go as high as 1 000 watts max. Although you should always disregard the max number because it is not an accurate representation of how a.

Sub Will Perform To Get The Most Out

of the sub you should pair it with an amplifier that can deliver the 500 watts to match otherwise you are better off getting a weaker sub-i’ve paired mine with this Rockford Fastgate R500 x1d, which puts out 500 watts Rms. So it’s a match made in heaven when everything is tuned properly check out my gain setting video for more information on that which I’ll link up above and in the video description, but on a small car like WRX or StI that is enough to have you chasing rattles for a week. All in a pretty small package in the WRX or StI I found that mounting it right to the back of the rear seat was the easiest way to go. I simply used the included hardware and mounted it to the metal behind the seat right here. With a little bit of measuring you can work it so that it ends up sitting right on top of the floor of the trunk.

Im Extremely Happy With The Subwoofer.

The right songs will vibrate your entire body even when the car is at speed and it does this without sacrificing much trunk space that especially sounds nice if you have already upgraded your head unit no sense in playing sample music because you’d have to play it through the same subwoofer in order to hear what it sounds like, but believe me. This will be enough for the majority of people who want field base with the ability to rattle the car every now and then thanks so much for watching let me know what you think below and if you appreciate the video. I would appreciate a like and consider subscribing if you haven’t already see you. Next video take care!
