here and in today’s video I’m gonna be going over the best sub the most tried-and-true sub that was ever made stay tuned alright guys so here the sub is it is the Alpine Type R now I’ve had this up for about four years and then I bought this from a guy and he had had the sub for several years himself and I believe he had even bought it from someone else who had had it for a good while too now. This box was a custom box that I built specifically for it when I first got it and seen a little bit worse for wear. It’s lit around and got kind of banged up. But the sub itself is an incredible sub and it still works so I actually have not plugged this thing up in a few. I’m gonna be putting it in the Jeep so we’re gonna see just how good this incredible sub still is so let’s take a little closer look at it so you just got a few little dings and whatnot and you’re looking here Just a few see there’s some little cracks and the surround, but those cracks were actually there when I first bought the sub and they have not broken all the way through yet so the material they use on these things is really good stuff and again that this sub has got to be six seven eight years old.

Okay Guys We Got This In

the car. This is not seen the inside of a car in quite some time so be good to have it back in here and this is a dual 2-ohm sub as you can see we’re getting right about 2. 3 ohms okay. We got it hooked up against just 2 ohms. Now this Ignite amp They rate it at 550 watts at 2 ohms at an UK power and it has been dyno’d by several people online like Big Daddy Wiz and it came out to be right around that you know at clean power so I have bass boost off.

I Have Gained Just A Touch Over Half

percent. I have my low-pass filter around kind of that 90 hundred Hertz so yeah so we shouldn’t be any clipping whatsoever from that okey Dokey so we’ve got my laptop. Unfortunately, we’re gonna play through the aux but I’ll have to do Yeah boy She still works well there she is guys absolutely incredible this old Alpine type Our Hana. The quality in Alpine’s is just absolutely insane and in this type are like if you’re wanting a sub you know kind. Around that thousand watt range that’s just gonna last you absolutely forever.

you need to pick up right here. The quality is great and it’ll just last you for basically forever you know assuming you push the recommended power to it anyway guys thank you all so much for watching alpine type are one of the best subs ever made for you know a good just all-around great sub to have in your car if you’re not trying to go anything too too crazy.
