Video Creator’s Channel Shane Lee
Whats Up Guys Today Were Going To Be Taking
a look at the UK UK 3000 s. Normally I do an unboxing but seeing how these have been out for like a year. Now there’s tons of unboxing videos onNK] Already plus I forgot to hit the record button when I first got them anyways. If you’re new to the channel and love home theater talk and watching new movies then consider tapping that subscribe button for new weekly videos alright so I wanted to get two of these in my theater to go up front to even out bass response plus my theater isn’t all that big so these little subs fit right up front and take up minimal space size wise. Wise they measure fifteen point six inches high by fifteen point two inches wide by seventeen point eight inches deep and the way fifty four and a half pounds each.
They Come In A Black Oak
finish or the glossy black that I’ve got here typically I prefer to go with non-shiny gloss since it keeps reflections down but they sent me the gloss. The SB3000 has a thirteen inch driver in a sealed enclosure and it’s got a rated frequency response down to 18 Hertz. It’s powered by an 800 watt Amp with Peaks up to 2500 around back is the volume crossover and face selections along with UK status indicators and here’s the auto power on selector on the left side is the wireless adapter input and unbalanced UK inputs. It would have been nice to have include UK ends but you’re going to have to step. up to the 4000 series for that for setup I’ll be hooking this up to a tradeoff processor and as the UK media player.
The Subs Will Be Paired With An
11 channel and Rendell sound speaker set up in my home theater. I’ve turned off all room collection in the processor and used only what’s built into the UK, which happens to be a lot. The UK 3000 has a built-in UK so you can control it using either an Android or UK app you’ve got control for volume a few presets. Low-pass filter with adjustable slope adjustable phase from 0 to 180 degrees. You can swap polarity and there’s a UK on board.
You Can Even Tame Any Boo Meanness
with a room gain compensation for testing I use this mainly for movie watching in my theater. My first go-to is 2020s King of bass so far at. 4K Blu-ray It’s got a Dolby atmos soundtrack and it can work your subwoofers extremely hard jumping over to Chapter twos First aerial attack You’ll hear a huge buildup of bass followed by some very hard-hitting gunshots. As the scene progresses they’ll be this pulsating 30 Hertz tone that just hangs there for about a minute or so it’ll shake everything loose in your house. The 3000’s can produce a tremendous amount of output despite how small they are.
Another Very Similar Scene Is The Opening
chapter of Blade Runner 2049 during the eyeball shot instead of a tone around 30 Hertz. This one rumbles a bit harder at 35 Hertz. It’s a prolonged bass note that if you’re not expecting it might have you worried for your neighbors next up is fury in Dolby Atmos it’s another one of my go-to for summer for testing if you’re not getting. Bass here during all those tank blasts, then I think it’s time to step up your subwoofer game these little things that bang a heart around 40 Hertz with some extension down to 20. Since private school I’ve had a couple ported subs in here recently for review I’ll leave links to those at the end of this video.
The Ported Subs Definitely Pressurized My
room at louder volumes and had a lower frequency presence but they weren’t as tactile is these two together so explosions and gunshots felt like they hit faster and harder with the 3000’s and now I’ve got to wrap this up with edge of tomorrow. The two UK 16s I’ve got can do the first five seconds. Some serious justice albeit with a little poor chuffing. The intro will have Peaks around 30 25 20 and 10 Hertz and a little below that at 10. Hertz and below you shouldn’t be hearing anything more like feeling the air vibrate I’m not sure for even on the air.
This Is Obviously These Arent Gonna Do Anything
in the 10 Hertz in bullet range, so I wasn’t expecting them to match the bigger subs at 30-25 and 20 Hertz. The dual subs will get scary loud I’ve had some bigger subwoofers in here that can’t touch these little guys again. They’re not going to go into any infrasonic levels, but given their size I doubt anyone would think they could now. This is a measurement courtesy of audio holics. I’ll leave a link to their measurements in the video’s description.

So These Guys Are $1,000 Each And They
were my favorite subwoofers last year not because they can give you subterranean bass cuz. I’m sure you can get bigger subs for less but these were my. Faves because they were small, which means they’re easy to place easy to move and the output bass that you’d expect from a much larger subwoofer plus you get a dedicated app. If you need to adjust these on the fly not only were they awesome for movies but I’ve used them in my two channels set up with a pair of electrostatic cell for movies and I’d say equally from music as well they’re responsive and tight sounding for things like drums and guns, and they dig surprisingly low those big cinematic movie moments so far.
