Hey Folks, Hows It Going So If You Have

not already subscribed please consider subscribing and liking the video sharing the video clicking the bell button and all those things it really does help us out so without further Ado getting into the video topic we’re talking about the clips 8000 F speakers today and the reason for the speaker being here is that I reviewed the clips 600m speakers. One of the first reviews on this channel and when I reviewed that speaker I recommended a subwoofer to go along with the bookshelf version and a lot of people have asked me is it worth it to get the floor standard. If the bookshelf and the subwoofer combination is that good and I was wondering the exact same thing in which clips replied to try it for yourself, so once I got the floor standard on the back of. My mind I was thinking yeah Cliff, She wouldn’t release a floor standard if their bookshelf and a subwoofer did the same thing. However, my other side of the brain was thinking you know but he’s 600m with the subwoofer is so so good, What can they for standard offer me more and when I first hooked these up.

I Was Pleasantly Surprised Now Let

me explain you’re gonna get the same kind of airiness and quickness, high frequency extension and excitement that you got from the clips 600m but what you’re getting more is the base region just like if you were to add a subwoofer. The 8000 F has two eight inch woofers added to them, and these two eight eight-inch woofers are actually damn phenomenal not to mention the fact that they employ a larger cabinet in general what that means that more bass more impact. But not only are you getting a more full bottom and you’re gonna get a more full mid-bass as well. A quicker clean mid-bass that was unheard of on the cliff 600 M so this speaker yes. It is a phenomenal upgrade from the 600 m and it is something that you can’t achieve the Section M plus a subwoofer because not only are you getting a full bottom and you’re getting that mid-bass that was non-existent on the clip 6mm.

This Is Such A Quick Bass On The

speaker so punchy yet so clean I wouldn’t call these speakers warm I wouldn’t call these speakers cold I will call these speakers exciting with a very clean base. So if you’re someone who really likes clarity. Then these speakers are for you and out of all the speakers that were here. I preferred Eclipse 8000 preferred Eclipse 8000 F when it came to watching movies or wanting to hear something very very clean the base the the high frequency the mid-range everything is so damn clean now getting into the sound stage you’re gonna get a very very even dispersion and even wire sound stage then you did on the clip 600m perhaps because these are on a higher kind of taller ceiling as you can see here or maybe it’s just you know the frequency being more full-spectrum is helping with the high frequency as well, but you’re gonna get nevertheless a bigger soundstage and a wider dispersion. Even dispersion in my opinion and from my ears that’s what I heard now what you’re not gonna get is as of a good imaging on the 600 m.

The 600 M Didnt Image That

well either because as a horn design, but it did image. These speakers, these speakers don’t image all that well. However, it is very clear and crisp and it does seem like when I have the projector screen down it’s coming from one point source, so it doesn’t bother me that much, but if you’re someone who is like an image freak and has to have that sweet spot right down in the middle. Then these speakers were are not going to be for you, but if you have a lot of people over. If you just don’t mind the imaging then by all means these speakers will do you just fine in fact half the time I’m a bit of an image freak myself and I didn’t care for it because it was so crisp and clear and it didn’t seem like what’s coming from everywhere it was coming from one point source so in that way you get kind.

Of Like A Large Imaging In A Way

but I wouldn’t call that it’s more of a soundstage and imaging. At this point they obviously employ that back port design that is also tactics kind of back port design that I showed you on the clips 600m. It is very much like that so if you if you put them towards the back wall. You’re gonna get more bass and you can control for that as well all in all even if I put these like straight against the wall. You’re not gonna get a boomy bass but a cream base so in terms of clarity.

These Speakers Are Phenomenal And Like Second To

none and in terms of placement they’re not that sensitive, but the you change drastically depending on if you tilt them towards you or out to the room, so if you have them out to the room. I found that there were less likely to be bright and less fatiguing. If you were to tilt them towards your ears, then there’s much clarity but at the same time. You make it a little bit brightness and uncomfortable showiness depending on your preference and your ears, but for me I generally like to have them tilted towards the room because this gave me a lot of clarity and soundstage without being fatiguing at all so let me tell you what these speakers don’t do very well and that is playing modern music or poorly recording music it will teach you a lesson of.

Not To Play Poor Recorded Music By

destroying your ears permanently and so be very careful not to play any kind of both you know poor recordings on these speakers. In fact, when you power these speakers yes it is very sensitive and you can power these with a tube amplifier. I will say you know anything like 50 watts and below even 30 watts would do it justice in this type of space, but yeah even component-wise. If you put blumin it will tell you that it’s blumin.

In Fact, I Had This Shin

I was like which is a $20,000 integrated amplifier here hooked up to it and it was just singing. It was a sounding absolutely fabulous, so the whole point being that if you pair these up with something high quality, then it’s gonna sound really really good and if you pair. pair it with something that’s not so good quality It’s not gonna sound as good now Matching is a huge thing with clip speakers in general and horn speakers in general, so if you pair these was something that has been reviewed many times for being you know extra clear you know extra shrill extra bright on the top and extremely revealing. Then these are not the terms are looking for when you’re pairing it with these speakers.

What Youre Looking For Is Warm

romantic good with horn speakers maybe those words are better suited for not pairing it up with speakers like this so do your research when you pair these speakers up with an amplifier. You really need to pair it up with the right components and play the right type of music or enjoy a lot of a lot of movies because that’s always well recorded right. I mean unless you pirate them or something like that you should generally sound very good so that’s it for me thank you very much for watching guys and I’ll see you guys in the next one you.
