Whats Up Uk Here We Are So

another week at the home theater hobbyist and this week we have the full review of the UKNK] 2000 now I know many of you want to see my comparison between the UK and the UK VTF-2 sub and I’m gonna do it, but I felt like I really wanted to get the UK 2004 review done complete so you can get my impressions of it by itself. Then we’re gonna do the comparison so let’s get to that floor view. This is the S vs UK 2000. This comes from UK 2000 series line in which they have three subwoofers. The first is the UK 2000.

The Uk 2002 Thousand Uk Stands For

ported box and this has a front firing port that’s four inches. A 12-inch driver. A sledge 500 watt continuous with 1,100 watts of peak. of peak power. It also has a frequency response from 17 Hertz all the way up to 260 Hertz and it weighs 65 pounds so now that you have the technical details.

Lets Talk About How It Looks

from a design standpoint. I really like it because it’s really simple. You have the 12-inch driver here a light and the port over all you have is black ash finish, which is not my personal favorite but honestly. In a couple of months it wouldn’t really matter you wouldn’t notice you knock on it. The cabinet is solid everything is done really well.

Its Nice And Premium, Which Is What You

want and if you don’t like the speaker just sitting out there all by itself. You You can always put the grill on, which is This is a very nice metal grill. It just plugs into the ports along the front and it’s really simple nothing to it. Now on the rear. We have the plug input.

The Main On/Off Switch The Inputs

that come from your receiver either either UK or UK. A remote trigger a on or auto standby switch, a low-pass filter, a phase and a volume knob. One of the things that adds to the premium feel of this is the knobs. They have just a little bit of weight to them and a little click as you turn it around it’s probably hard to see there, but it’s actually clicking every so often click there there there there okay so we’ve talked about the technical aspects of the subwoofer and we’ve talked about the design but you do not buy subwoofer. This because you like the way it looks You buy it because you want great low frequency effects in your room, so let’s talk about sound Now The first thing I did for sound was I put this subwoofer in my main seating position where I sit when I watch movies and I put on some demo material and I crawled around the room.

Until I Found The Place Where The Subwoofer

sounded a bit sounded the best that’s known as the subwoofer Crawl. I unhooked. It put the subwoofer in that spot that I found for my subwoofer crawl and ran my receiver’s auto calibration in my main listening position. So I can tune it in to my system from my room and I did a few other tweaks after that and then I started playing demo material and what did I think well I loved it it sounded. great It was funny because one of the things that I noticed right off the bat was just how it pressurized the room Cuz all of a sudden.

I Started Hearing Drywall And Stuff

around my room like creaking and popping a little bit and I’m in the subwoofer. It wasn’t boo me. It wasn’t like a muddy bass sound. It was actually really clear concise and it just it sounded really good and like I said I love the sound pressure of it. It was great and so everything that UK.

I Said Ive Heard About The Subwoofer

delivered it delivered on the UK legendary sound. I guess you could say and so I really really enjoyed it. But you don’t have to take my word for it. Let’s listen to some sound test and you can tell me what you think so for the sound recording first of. All I’ve changed of audio recording setup so hopefully you guys can hear the bass better than you could in the VTF–video, But this is track one from the sue research-based testNK] is some Oregon Symphony and the author of this UK says that it has the strongest 16 Hertz tone that they’ve recorded or they’ve been able to find so let’s just hear just a few seconds of this it’s not coming through as well as I would hope over audio, but you can really see just how much the speaker is moving while we listen to this track okay now that you’ve listened to the sound test hopefully that came out it probably won’t come out because honestly it’s really hard to capture what this thing is doing at you know below 20 Hertz and things like that on a camera microphone I did.

Did Set Up And Do A Different

microphone that I did for my to research review, but this still can’t really capture it because some of the stuff you can just feel it it’s it’s not something you can hear you can feel it in your chest, But really I promise you guys if this is if you’re thinking about buying the pp-2000 you won’t be disappointed. This it’s a great sub and if you’re coming from a home tear in a box or some lesser sub you will really really enjoy it. My previous set up included an energy take classic 8-inch and a Polk Audio 10 inch and those aren’t high end subs I know but that’s what I had at the time and this thing just blew them out of the water. I mean. There was there’s no comparison, so if you’re coming from something like.

Youre Really Gonna Enjoy It So Do

I recommend it. I highly recommend it so thank you guys for watching. This was a fun video fun review thank you guys for everything that you’re saying in the comments section keep it coming like subscribe and check out some of the other other videos on my channel We’ll see you next time.
