Alright Guys Today Were Gonna Test One Of The
cheapest powered car audio subwoofers that you can get and it’s available at Walmart and when I say the cheapest you can get this from a known brand manufacturer. Not one of these UK cheapo pieces of junk that you get online but yeah we’re gonna test it out in the car we’re gonna pull the amplifier module out test it on the Danau. We’re also gonna show you what the subwoofer looks like so if it sounds good to you hang around and check it out with us alright as I mentioned we’re looking at a dual-powered subwoofer, the TBX 10a, which goes for 80 bucks on Walmart. Here we have it let’s take it out of the box and see what’s inside here’s the powered subwoofer. It’s kind of a truck-style box.
It Has This Plastic Semi.
grill that covers the front of the speaker to help protect it amplifiers on the side. There’s phase protection power input level crossover bass UK 10 amp fuse and then there’s the plug for the harness. The speaker wire harness, which also has the power and ground and everything and the UK inputs also comes with some straps so you can strap it down make sure it doesn’t go anywhere and here’s the power ratings 300 watts max 100 continuous. It’s 4 ohm impedance that says Class A B so here we go put it on the shoulder see how it looks let’s take a closer look at the dimensions eleven and a half tall by 16 and a half wide and then since it’s a truck style.
The Bottom Is 5.
5 inches and the top is 4 inches. The power subwoofer is very light. It’s less than 11 pounds. Around 5 kilograms let’s put in the car and see what it does here’s the dual sub in the backseat of the 37 Ford suicide doors for the wind like that, but yeah the amp here is on this side.
It Doesnt Have Any Kind Of Heatsink
or anything but I’m just gonna do a quick demo I’ve got a gauge wire run up to a battery NorstarNK] Agm-84 powering the Blaupunkt head unit and also the dual-powered sub and up top here. You can’t see it real well, but it’s a six and a half-inch generic coaxial speaker. So I’m gonna switch it between just using the six and a half and then we’ll switch it to the subwoofer. See if we can tell the difference. I’m not gonna do a big extensive test as I’m sure a lot of you guys are not gonna have.

Headphones On Youre Not Going To
hear the difference but we’re gonna try it anyway so here we go alright so I have the mic pointed obviously right here at me facing this way so it might turn that around once we start everything out but here when we start up the head unit and I’m using the UK drive here I’ve got these songs downloaded off of UK the audio library that way you don’t have to worry about any kind of copyrights or anything so let me find a song I noticed got a pretty good base. You like this one all right so we’ll crank it up to around 40 and that’s when the baseline hits that’s just like a factory speaker in your car so let’s turn on the sub and see how it sounds here We go. I hope you can hear that because it. really makes a big difference? The speaker wires connect into the ampere extremely short and it looks like they have the speaker plug here glued that’s why I couldn’t get it undone all right so here you can see we got it apart and you can see the amplifier module here. This is a class a/b amp which is kind of surprising at this price point.
I Thought It Would Have Been A
chip amp with one of those UK modules or something and there’s a subwoofer. They’re kind of cheap subwoofer, but yeah the real interesting thing here about the amp is The caps are called success Oh Yeah and then we have these standard UK T’s and here is the subwoofer. It has maybe about a 30-ounce magnet vented pool piece looks like about a one and a half-inch voice coil or so pretty basic looking. speaker rubber surround probably propylene cone You know nothing too fancy, but what do you expect the whole thing When I bought it was fifty bucks, so it’s still $80, which is still really cheap the nominal resistance here on the speaker is right around four ohms. So the amp is designed for 4 ohm load and here we got it powered up on the bench.

Lets Hook Up The Uk Amp Dyno
Let’s whip This amp up to the dyno and you know what we’re gonna do that’s right Let’s test it out see how it does all right first up we’re gonna try 4 ohm load. This is where it’s rated 100 watts UK 300 Watts peak we forget the peak let’s see if we get oh yeah 106 very nice certified let’s try one certified up the clipping did a little better 111 watts at 14. 4 dynamic. 115 Watts very good, so it’s not ready to do 2 Ohm load, but you know what we’re gonna do it anyway so let’s try first certified 2 Ohms 40 Hertz 138 Watts 14. 3 2 Dynamic 166 Yep here are the full results they have down a sheet you’re welcome to go ahead and pause it.
If You Want To See Each Individual
number it did well There you have my review of the dual UK X10, a powered subwoofer that you can get for Walmart now when I purchase mine it was $50 last I checked their website. It’s $80 but still for 80 bucks for getting a Class A B amplifier you’re getting a somewhat decent speaker. You’re getting an okay enclosure but hey for 80 bucks. What do you expect hook it up to a factory type system with an UK adapter hey it’s not too bad. You know a lot of people think in the car audio industry that you have to have thousands of watts and you have to have your whole car shaken apart for it to be any good, but trust me not everybody likes that in fact, most people don’t like that they just want to add a little bit of low-end to their sound and something like this.
Although Not The Best Quality You Can Get
out there like a kicker Rockford Fosgate some of the more well-known brands for 80 bucks you just cannot beat this so check the video description below for a link to check it out and also have some alternative options. You can choose maybe to look at those as well so thanks as always for watching my videos. This is Big D until next time you’re on that I’m out of here all right one. Burst is it gonna go to protect Is it gonna blow up do lat let’s see 177 and then still not in protect. There is one 77 14.
2 For Im Impressed Im Gonna Try One Of
them. Now I think it’s gonna probably pop the fuse, but let’s try 1 Ohm certified 40 Hertz for the duel and here we go alright so the light went out on the amp so I think we probably popped the fuse you see it in there. We’ll pull that fuse out. See if it’s pop but yeah she turned off did not go in to protect it just shut off.
So I Think The Fuse Probably Popped
103 watts at 114 point two-five sure enough it pop the fuse 15 amp alright guys I’m gonna show proof that my scooter was rigged if you saw this on the last video teaser here is. full clip get ready you haven’t smile you’re on candid camera What’s wrong you did come on man. This is just getting started better get that wreck vehicle on the road. What’d you do what’s wrong when they did come off came off right that’s why you read you big?
