This is a brand new sub by audio pipe I don’t think anybody’s really made a review of it yet so hopefully time I get this uploaded. I’ll be the first one but we’ll see anyway guys let’s get into this alright guys so here is the box again Audio five UK UK c for an old 2 ohm 12-inch. This is the one with these four stack magnets so we’ve got something that shows you we’re gonna cut out your hole for your box and then kind of shows you how to wire up different subs and different ways. We have got a little our little manual.
Another Audio Pipe Sticker Got A Little
Allen Wrench for the special terminals that they have I’ve got the warranty card. So let’s see what it says. It has a one-year warranty on it and then we’ve got the user manual. So let’s see what specs we got here okay so here we go we got the UK UK c for the bill 2 Ohm. We have a UK of 31 UK is 88.

We Have A Four Layer Three-Inch Voice Coil.
It says it’s 1,100 watts UK 2200 watts max. It weighs thirty point nine pounds. The magnet wait to say two hundred and twenty ounce Magnets says maximum excursion peak. The peak is 50 millimeters, so that’s 25 millimeters one way pretty nice so yeah let’s get the sub out see what it looks like Wow goodness guys.
This Thing Is Beautiful Hope Yall Can Really
see that I really love these sub they’re just long which I just think makes him look really really cool so up top we have our cone. I believe it’s a paper cone, but it’s got some kind of like I don’t know weaved something on here makes it stupid stiff like I cannot crease that whatsoever we have this huge amount of surround on it. I don’t know audio pop just puts these beefy beefy looking surrounds on and they just look really really cool and then just I mean they’re massive we’ve got the red stitching. Now the UK again has the stitching. Whereas if you get the regular beat it just a regular beauty for or any of just a regular beauty subs.
There Is No Stitching There Just Glued But
yeah not that it really really matters over here We’ve. got what I believe is a cast aluminum basket it’s got a really cool finish to it feels really good. We’ve got their special terminals. We’ve got two on this side and then over here. We’ve got four on this side, so you can run two to one and then to going to your amp so that’s really cool really like that let’s get up a little closer so Y’all can really see it well.
Weve Got The Flat Since The
leads Don’t know if there’s a specific term, but that’s really good well put the excursion in you’ll get plenty of power going through them tons of tons of wire. There let’s does have a three inch for layer voice coil and it is copper-colored. It does not have the black paint or the black blue on it, but don’t know if that really matters that much yeah. I’ve got the big old quad stack Magnets and it looks really cool under here Going around here. We got binning up here, but they keep a little guard on it to keep Junk from getting into your coil pretty stiff spider and overall.
I Mean This Sub Is Stiff,
but you know that’s kind of what you want when you’re trying to get some more power out of these things yeah guys down here let’s see the old 2 ohm seal It wants that–Oh my goodness so sealed. I wants a 2 cubic foot box and 4 vented it says three point two five cubic feet again. This sub is about 170 dollars now on Amazon now they were 200, but they went down so if you want to sub go pick it up while it’s cheap well. Let’s do a quick comparison here if the Rockville. destroy your sub you can tell this sub is still a much bigger sub.
The Magnet On This Thing Is
a 300 off Magneto and overall it’s just massive let’s just have much bigger leads terminals and whatnot but again this is 170 bucks so almost $100 cheaper and it still is massive and I know these audio pipes like to take a ton of power and just handle really really well so I’m sure this thing will far surpass my expectations all right guys here’s another quick comparison we have the audio pipe Bd2, so it’s got the double stack magnets. Now Don’t let their little magnet rating thing fool you. This is only a two stack, but the stack size is a lot bigger so that is that is a Donna that was a really thick magnet, whereas over here even though it’s bt for the magnet sizes. itself is a lot smaller or each stack is a lot smaller, so you’re not really getting twice the magnets out of this sub. From this sub you’re getting maybe 50% more which I don’t know but what whatever that’d be cool if they would oh no they looked about the same in diameter as well.
Oh Were All Really Similar.
I mean they have the exact same basket it looks like like the exact same basket well just totally fine both great baskets, but we do have a different spider let’s move a yellow spider in here and there it’s a black looking spider and of course we have different leads. This one has the four post terminal on the one side, whereas this one just has the to both sides. This one has much much skinnier leads going in there I just got the big old B few. Leads, but still this was a $98 sub.
This Is $170 Sub So Ya In Gain
for the price. This is still a great sub, but I think for 170 bucks. This might be a freaking bargain as well. So I don’t know we’re gonna see all right guys. So we finally got these sub in a box and I sold my old box my prefab box so I built a custom box.
This Is Kind Of A All-Around Good
custom box for a lot of different subs. I’ll be trying out, but it is built through 2. 7 cubic feet. It is tuned to 32 Hertz with this ear port.
Now This Sub Can Go Up
to a three and a quarter square foot or cubic foot box, but it sounds really really good on this box. So yeah well what y’all really want to see is a demo of. And guys it’s pretty impressive. I’ve got this big old fat surround on it and it moves it moves a ton of air so yeah Let’s play some music and see some excursion.
