When Selecting Subwoofers For Your Home Theater, Its
important to get enough horsepower. I recommend at least five preferably closer to the 10. That this pair of monolith M215s produces 7200 watts peak divided by 745. 7 comes out to about 9. 6 horsepower.

The Blue-Led Lights Do Not Come With The
M215, but it’s an easy modification until now. I have not been using voiceover to demonstrate how quietly these woofers flex and that there is no port rattle. I started with the monolith 16-inch subwoofers as you can see the box was badly damaged. That has been a reoccurring case with monolith luckily nothing has been damaged on the inside. It just makes for a little more work if you have to send them back because you have to repair the boxes.
One Of The M16S Failed Right Out Of
the box with low output the other was doing. Within a week they authorized returns on both of the 16 inches. I decided to up charge to the M215. Since there was a few reviews out there that were good I’m starting to question those reviews and wondering if they went through several speakers who knows the first 215 I opened suffered from port rattle and a mechanical problem with the upper woofer that made a ticking sound.

The Port Rattle Would Stop Depending On

One Of Two That I Have
the other one’s just fine, but I have not been able to get another good M215 sense if you if you listen carefully you’ll hear a clicking sound coming from this upper woofer. This is a 12 Hertz test tune, but it does it from about 20 Hertz All the way down the lower woofer is fine the ticking gets louder the longer it’s used it’s audible through the box. It gets fairly loud. Here is the latest replacement M215 box torn up and typical monolith fashion.

repaired it before they sent it off luckily nothing inside was damaged Monolith needs to get their together when it comes to quality control I love these speakers when they work proper right now things are going great how long this is gonna last.
