Hi-Five Vega Back Again This Time Were Doing The
first part of the subwoofer shootout and we’re gonna start with this infinity 120 point 9 W sub woofer Originally released in 2009 with the UK of $249. It included such features as the very nice woven cone that you can see here as well as a very cool and unique impedance selector. They weren’t the first to use this selector switch, but what is unique to infinity is the fact that you have a 2 and a 4 ohm load to choose from most companies who do something like this are using. If if they’re using dual form coils will give you the option between 2 and 8 ohms. I’ve done a little bit of research on why this works like this and I can’t really pin down exactly what they’re doing some people say it’s they’re using three pools.

and it’s selecting between them. So I’ll leave it up to you to decide that before we get into the scores. I think it’ll be a good thing to review the scoring metrics and the scoring scale The scoyne will be weighted like this 30% for output 30% for sound quality, 30% for overall value and 10% for wow factor well factors there for a sub that just comes out of the blue and and presses me in some way. The output was good but not great and I honestly expect a little more. This could be a factor of our quote-unquote prefab box that we built, but all these drivers will be using the same enclosure.

sound quality. It scored eight of ten and that’s mainly due to the type accurate bass and the very smooth lows in the value department then scored a seven point five of ten at with an UK of $249. It’s a Very good boarding on great value as far as wow Factor I gave this a nine out of ten and that’s mainly due to the top-notch materials that they use the build quality is great and it’s just a great looking driver overall not to mention the very cool impedance selector that has the unique ohm loads. So after I’ve calculated all the scores we come up with a final grade of seventy-five percent or a solid C What really hurt This driver was the output department but don’t let that discourage you because honestly.
