to be a really quick review today been searching on the internet about these Kef cube one subwoofers i’ve noticed there’s no reviews on a Youtube for these and they’ve been around for quite a while if you do to decide to get some there’s a version one and a version two it doesn’t really say on the back you can’t tell by just like looking at the um description the way you can tell is the switches . The version one has only got a switch for phase. Version two has got one for slope as well, which is like . You can control how fast it like rolls off the base. it’s got a detachable power lead.

Its 200 Watts Per Channel And

it’s got it.’s got one it eight inch active speaker so that’s what. The powered one and then on the other side. So you got like there’s two eight inches on it, but um what you say the one on the one side is active and the one on the other side is passive that means it’s got no amplifier attached to it’s a sealed enclosure. There’s no baseboard got like a glass top.

Its Cloth All The Way Around.

There’s two ways to wire them up. You can use one of these sort of cables which is like that’s your standard subwoofer cable so it’s like a single aux sort of coax looking just plug that into either one of those um left or right, and then plug that into you LFe or subway for output so that’s the one way or you can use one of these so you plug one into the left one into the right and then. You just plug that into the end of your I’ll tell you why this well. I’ve been saying why this review is gonna be um quite short is I bought two of them.

Its Trying To Like Pressurize My Room

is on e. It’s only 12 foot by 14 foot, so it’s not particularly big so I bought two of them put one up the corner over there. I put one down here and I thought that would be plenty and um I’m gonna be honest here. It’s absolutely rubbish. I mean they look they look nice but not you know they look nice to look at but the sound on them is terrible um to put it into you know perspective.

Ive Got These Um Audio Monitor Audio Speakers

and they’re not particularly like high-end ones but they’ve got um a six and a half inch you know. Woofer and then like a six and a half inch mid-range and I’m telling you these speakers get way low, deeper, much more sub-bass out of these then you get a two of them and that’s what I’ve took them off. I’m going to send them back. So I suppose if you’ve got small bookshelf speakers we’ve got those like I think they did come in a kit when there was originally for sale. It was like one of those you know with a little tiny satellites , but yeah if you’re going to put it onto like an existing if you’ve got a harmony.

Ive Got A I Have Got

a marantz amp um I’m using this pioneer at the moment because the moranti’s off to be repaired and to be fair. This point is quite powerful for an old an older stereo. I think this come out. 2012 Hasn’t got all the um you know 4k pass through and all that sort of stuff but the output on it. I can’t even fit it in I used to put my marantz in this cabinet here, but um this doesn’t fit it’s an absolute monster and um.

It Is Pretty Powerful.

It doesn’t sound as good as the Miranda don’t get me wrong but um you take far off um I’ve actually got it on marketplace for sale at the moment this it’s the pioneer SC 2022. This is the K version so it’s absolutely spotless that’s gonna Hasn’t got a single marker anyway so Yeah these subwoofers I suppose it really really it really depends on what you’re gonna put on with but um yeah I probably wouldn’t bother with them. I’d um save up the extra bit of money and buy something the next.

Level Up All Right Lets Just Review It.

They know the KeF Cube ones. You can get the KeF Cube twos, which has got exactly the same amplifier in it, but um it’s got 10-inch speakers instead instead of these got eight inch anyway well let’s help somebody and until next time thanks for watching Bye.
