Good Flex Only A Thousand Watts Man Im

impressed speaker upgrade going on so new Amp that’s going to be going into the challenger bring this forward to you so you can take a look. It’s the KXa 1600. 1. This thing comes with the wireless base Knob really interested in getting this all fired up and now I got a speaker box. It is a pre-loaded enclosure got a little dent there so this recording is definitely going to save me if it’s damaged.

The Model Of This Is The

DC WR12 so it’s two 12-inch kicker subs inside . I essentially had the same two subs plugged into a custom box that was too big that box was too big and so just going to be going with something that’s going to be more uniform and designed for them um but before we open This up. I’m going to. Look and show you some of the different things that I’ve got done in the car all right so open this thing up and show you guys some of the the speaker upgrades I’ve made so I was prepared to do like an unboxing with these speakers. I actually shot some content so I might throw it in here.

But I Got A Pair Of

alpine two sets of alpines some components and I got myself a set of coax too so I got these bridged into the doors . The challenger actually has six by nine inch size speakers in the door. So I had to get adapters to get these six and a halfs in there, but I got that in there and it works perfectly um and then I redid the rears they’re six and a half two so these are essentially the same speakers The components. have a separate tweeter, whereas to the coax has a integrated tweeter. I think I actually will bridge in at this point some unboxing that I did record, but let me just show you what these speakers look like man because this car allegedly has like aftermarket amp, so they put like a factory amp into the car, but these speakers are just I just don’t understand you know.

I Feel Like The Kind Of

car that this is there should be some decent speakers in there, but these are literally the speakers that were in the car um. They’re just pretty much like like really cheap material um and so the six by nines were in the door and then the six and a halfs were in the rear deck. So there’s a particular piece that you actually have to get in order to amplify aftermarket speakers in this. Car and I’m going to pan back and show you what that piece is and then show you the amplifier that I’ve got going with it all right so in order for you to add your own amplifier with new speakers and the challenger you have to get this piece right here Initially I got the wrong piece. This particular one is the Ap4-C8.

I Initially Picked Up The 21 Model 21

model is for 2017 and under challenger. This model is for 2018 and newer so apparently something on the radio has a different connection port. But this takes the full signal that you get from the radio and distributes it out to an aftermarket amplifier. So I’m going to be really happy with things. After I get this connected into the car and so to match the kicker sub amp.

I Got The Kicker Kx 400.

4 amp. Gonna kill those speakers that I got on the inside so really happy for this let me show you guys what the trunks looking like so far and it’s got some more work that’s going to be done. But I was able to get this small amp put into the trunk. What happens is I’ll get it moved over .

This Little Block Right Here Is

called the LC2. This is what I’ve been using to get a signal to the subwoofer amp right because it’s a low frequency signal, but that new device is going to completely replace this and it’s going to give me the low signal the mid signal. The high signal that’s how it was explained to me so I’ll get that reworked in um just a couple of days and then I’ll probably make another video and post it showing after everything is done but. I think it’s really clean the way that I was able to get this put down here and feeling it the amp is hot. I thought the ant was getting just power to it and it was making it hot, but it’s just like hot because the trunk is just hot in this Florida probably because it’s like a metal material.

Im Not Sure Um So Were

gonna pan through and go ahead and do an unboxing of this sub box all right go ahead and get this thing cut open so whenever you do get a box from them. It’s cool they give you this sheet with the model and all the different specs and things like that that you can expect to get out of it. Then it comes with some stickers which I would never in my life put these on my car, but it is what. It is I do see a lot of people. They like to to put these badges and such on their car.

companies unless they are paying me. I’m not putting it on my car right got this thing out the box damn the only thing with me putting this or not putting this in my challenger challengers like I just like the red accents that it has just clean you come and get a little closer shot kicker on the top cop R man. I really hope I just I’m happy with the way this sounds if I am then I will put this in here if not I got that cubon box or that Q series box in my cadillac man. I’ll put that in there but yeah this thing is nice nice port down the middle you know carpet is. All perfectly done? You got terminals on the back take a look Get a shot of this positive negative terminal on the back.

So Everything Is Nice And Clean,

so yeah. I’m gonna get this thing in the trunk and see what it sounds like all right man before I even drop this thing in here. Man just look at how small this box is now. These subs are not that deep they’re probably right here They’re not deep at all so apparently that’s enough air or enough space. I mean I’m no professional at this.

This Is Not Like My Thing.

I like to have some nice audio, but i’m not an engineer, a designer or anything like that, but it’s crazy man. How small this box is I just had a box in here that was just much deeper, probably like right like it was like right here. It fit in here, but it was much deeper with these same subs and so I was told today and educated that having a box too big for subs could be a problem for them, so we get this dropped in here connected and see how it sounds all right man so got these things on they are moving cool thing about this amp. I can just push the game remotely.

So They Got Some Flex To

them definitely um I’m gonna get it in the trunk. So I can see what it sounds like all right so I’m gonna get you guys some trunk flex. What I actually ended up doing was putting this box into the trunk of my Xcs. Cadillac. I had a box with two 12 inch Q series kicker 12s inside of it and so the amp that I have paired into this particular car.

and it just matches up really well with this with this box so it sounds pretty good so let you guys hear what this thing sounds like all right. So let me give you guys a look at the amp placement got an old-school MTX AmP it’s a thousand watts RMs. This thing is old school holds up really well though so got that mounted behind the seat cleanly show you what the trunk looks like I actually ended up doing this in my Xcs Cadillac the Amp that’s in the challenger works better with um the other speakers that were in this car so I figured if I’m an early student to this kind of stuff from a technical perspective so let me just get that put back show you what the box looks like in the trunk it doesn’t take up a. of space man which is really welcoming for me so I’ve got it tucked in there I’ll give you guys some trunk flex. I’m gonna do some solder baby the bull radio volume at about 70 percent see what we got here 1000 watts Rms No trunk Rattle try another song all right next up we gonna try this be legit old school always a good song to test stick em stick em good flex man.

Im Impressed Look Here Man Let Me

tell you for 450 dollars. This enclosure with these two subs with the 1 000 watt true power ant man. It’s a good combination. It is pretty damn good now obviously with a larger vehicle like a suv or something I would imagine.

You Probably Want To Go With Something More

extreme but for anybody that happens to see this? I’m going to post this as an actual review of these of this actual enclosure. This is good. I recommend it if you can get you a nice clean amp kicker makes some great amps, but I chose to use you know one of my old school amps and it just absolutely is perfect for me in this Cadillac” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>cadillac I got a factory interior both speakers in here I changed out the tweeters. My highs are perfect in this car like and I’m just using the factory radio obviously as you’ve seen but yeah this is good stuff man if you happen to have any questions.
