video in today’s video we’re going to take a look at the Sierra plus Dolby atmos sound bar and wireless subwoofer from majority and a big thanks to majority for sending this out to review so what we’re taking a look at today is the Sierra plus. This is a dolby atmos soundbar and wireless subwoofer comes in at a price of 279. 95 currently on Amazon. They do sell a lower version of this called the Sierra and that one runs 189. 95.

1. 2 system offers 400 watts has a wireless subwoofer and as you can see on the front here we have a couple different things so you can see we have optical connection included. We have bluetooth wireless subwoofer and HDMi arc pretty typical connections for a soundbar system, but of course, this does include Dolby Atmos, so the sound is going to be much better than something a little bit cheaper than what you may find here. So Adobe Atmos provides a 3d soundscape.
Its Supposed To Be Really Great For
movies of course, and it envelops you in sound when you’re listening to music if you’re not familiar with Dolby atmos. There are dolby theaters at AmC movie theaters if you’ve never been to one and it is a much better experience over a traditional digital film. So definitely if you’ve never done if you’ve never gone to a dolby cinema film definitely go and see it in that and you’ll definitely see the difference and hear the difference as well all right so now we’re gonna go ahead and unbox it. And see what is included here is everything that comes in the box. We have our subwoofer here.
You Can See We Have Majority
branding at the top. We do have a large hole at the bottom here and then a pretty large speaker On the side. This is a pretty large subwoofer itself. It is a 5. 25 inch speaker.
I Believe Inside This Subwoofer On The
back. You can see we have what looks to be a wi-fi led. We have WPs so you can connect this to the subwoofer and then we have a UsB and it says for update only and then we have our plug here, which is just a traditional two-prong plug on the back of our soundbar. You can see we have a plug for our power. Of course.
We Do Have A Usb Input, Optical Input
aux input and then we have three. HDMi one two and then HDMi out for arc and then for the aux. It is aux to the RCa here taking a look at our remote. It is a pretty simple remote as you can see. We have majority branding at the bottom a couple functions on here so we have power of course mute pair input, so you can change your source.

We Have Volume Up And Down Fast
forward rewind play pause and reset in the middle. We do have a couple of equalizers here as well so for music news and movie 3D sound and then we have controls for our treble and bass and on the back. It doesn’t actually include batteries which is kind of surprising but they are AaA batteries and something I found pretty funny. My original sound Bar I had before and the new majority sound bar use the same exact. Remote as you can see the only difference is literally the brand.
We Do Have Our Power Cable Which Is
nice that it is separate so in case something does happen. You can replace that of course the RCa aux Here. We have a couple of screws and wall anchors. If you did want to put this on the wall and these are also pieces to help you put that on the wall as well as these two here. I think they’re velcro pieces here and then we have our instruction guide here, which is actually quite small.
In The First Pamphlet.
It simply has your three year warranty and manual and a little QR code so you can go there and then you can look up the product here. So it also gives you their support if you have any issues and the second pamphlet is safety information of. course to let you know what to do what not to do in multiple languages now for me I’m using HDMi arc so you can use an HDMi port on the back of your Tv. Just make sure that it does have arc enabled on it and then you’re going to connect it to the back of the sound bar.
Of Course, Choose The One That Has
HDMi arc labeled on it and you will of course need to plug in the power plug in the back of the sound bar plug that in and the subwoofer also has a separate plug for it as well. Now once you power them they should pair automatically so by this blue light. This does mean it is now paired so for a quick comparison. I’m going to compare the top gun Maverick trailer on both of the sound bars My old and. The new one that I’m showing you here as well as give you an idea of how it will sound with music so let’s go ahead and give you an idea of how it’s going to be with the top gun Maverick trailer.
What Do We Have Here.
I hear I thought we were special fellas this year’s Bag man hang man. What do we have here and here. One now one thing I previously mentioned regarding the remote is that you do have a couple of equalizers available so as you can see we have a music equalizer.
We Do Have A News And A Movie
equalizer. So I’ll go ahead and play this song again and I’m going to go ahead and. Show you the difference between the sound when you change between those equalizers all right so just wanna give you some quick last-minute thoughts on the sierra plus from majority with Dolby Atmos so one thing I did notice is during the unboxing process. It did not include a lot of the cables that you’re going to need to connect this to your Tv, so no HDmi no optical cable were included. It did include the RCa cable, which was nice.
I Wish That Would Have Been Included.
Some cheaper brands do include those cables with it. Another thing I did not include was batteries for the remote unfortunate, but I’m pretty sure most of us have some batteries laying around, but would have been nice if they would have included that now as far as sound quality is concerned. I definitely noticed a difference between my old and new. The Top gun Maverick trailer because that was done in Dolby Atmos, It sounded absolutely incredible so for that definitely worth it for traditional music that’s not mixed in Dolby Atmos it was good, but it was no real different from say a traditional sound bar, so the real perk of this is anything that’s mixed in Dolby Atmos is going to sound incredible and is going to sound very immersive.
If Youre Wanting To Listen To Music
with Dolby atmos. Of course. Apple Music is a streaming service that does offer Dolby atmos mix sounds so it’s definitely one you can use and certain apps. On Apple Tv will have Dolby Atmos included.

I Know It Does Have Dolby Vision
as well, which does work with my Tv so you may run into some issues trying to find content with Dolby atmos mixed in it if you’re not. Really concerned with that the sound bar itself does sound great you do have those three different equalizers. You can adjust bass and treble and get it to your liking. But the perk of this definitely is that dolby atmos sound and it does sound absolutely incredible so it does seem like a decent price for this I believe is 279 as I mentioned earlier, which is not bad for a soundbar system um with this dolby atmos.
However, Again, I Wish It Would Have Included
