here and today We have a brand new star sub that just came out so you are not gonna want to miss this stay tuned alright guys now you all know that scar has their UK sub. Which is there a $99 sub. That is a 600 watt UK sub and then they have their UK L sub. Which I reviewed on this channel a little while back and that is their $200 sub and it is 1250 watts UK so they just came out with a brand new sub. This is the UK 12 and this is their 800 watt UK sub and it comes in right at about 130 dollars so very excited to have something brand-new and to be one of the first people you know bringing it the show to you all well first off we have this.

we have the UK The peak power. The frequency response is 22 to 300 Hertz and then we have an X-max of 15 millimeters, which of course for a 130 dollar sub. In it really too bad of course, we get a scar decal and then we have the little instructions manual for the UK 12 to give those dimensions. How to build a ported box specifically for the requirements for this sub that says 1. 8 cubic feet to do 33 Hertz and then over here we have just some of the other specifications for the UK 12 of course, you’re gonna do kill to our dual 4-ohm.

These sensitivity is 86. The net weight is about 22 pounds now. This has a 2. 5 7-inch voice coil.
The Voice Coil Bobbin Is Black And
aluminum and then. wire is copper and it is 4 layer and it has high flux ferrite and then we have all of our T parameters down here. I’ll bring it up here so y’all can just see it real quick UK you guys here’s the Sun where scardiest makes really clean looking subs. In my opinion, We have a nice big dust cap do have a paper cone, not the stiffest paper cone in the world but of course only a 800 watt UK sub we do have a nice. I believe medium roll surround but looks really cool.

the back. We do just have a yeah. It’s a stamped steel basket nothing fancy there but of course $130. That is okay. We have a little push terminals if I could fit 8 gauge in there.

If You Really Tried.
We just have single. Sewn in pencil leads and then down here We actually have a pretty big motor for at least for this you know price sub not bad at all. We do of course have our Center pole venting and then our venting around the sides as well. So yeah really pretty cool alright guys a quick little closer look up at it.
You Can See The Nice Fat Dust
cap really nice mid rolls around of course the paper cone in there the basket. You can see the two point five seven inch copper voice coil Nice push terminals the single woven into leads and then pretty decent double stack motor alright guys as you can see look at some for 130 bucks definitely not too bad If you like scar and that is in your price range nothing looks like something should probably pick up of course we’re gonna test. it out and see how it does now the main sub that I could think of to compare this to would be the American base Elite 12. I have a review of that as well. Now the time I bought it that stuff $109, but now you can find it on UK for right about 135 dollars.
So Right In This Price Range
and I would say that sub does win a little bit because it did have dual tintal leads and did have a little bit bigger motor. I Don’t remember the exact size, but it was a little bigger than this motor, but other than that it had a stamp steel basket yeah basically just a kind of a mid-rolls around same sort of cone. Now it also might have had a three-inch voice coil. I’ll have to go look that up as well. I Don’t.

inch four layer voice coil well enough of me talking let’s throw this in the box alright guys got the sub in there looks really cool definitely does look impressive. We’d love to have two of these I bet we do pretty good what we pulled out was this Em1 K Rms line twelve sub go check out my review on that I’ve had this in here for several weeks now and it has been absolutely flawless, gets pretty low and gets loud and it’s just very cool. It is pretty much a locally built to me American-made sub just quickly to show you all what we got going on here now up front we have a UK 320 amp alternator and then right here. We have our extra UK battery and an audio pipe AqX two thousand point one of course. thousand watts at one ohm UK power We will hook up my meter so we can clamp what we’re actually saying This does around 2,000 watts at 2 ohms, and this is of course wire to 2 ohms, but we will get some impedance rise as we play so we’re not going to see you know 2,000 watts, but should definitely be more than the 8,000 that this is rated to well there you go that was straight out of the box.
We Just Sent It Today And It Did
incredible you saw him that last clip. I mean we were completely maxing it out and I barely smell it the teeny bit of a smell but really not surprised it’s just you know the first day didn’t give a chance to break in at all dust cap is a little bit warm again not at all surprised so yeah. Guys we had this in this big old box really too big this much for 1. 8 cubic foot box. This is a 2.

Brandt you know first day and we just blasted it guys and you saw it. It did pretty good now of course this was wired to 2 ohms. So after impedance rise. You thought we were getting up into like 4 Ohms, which is totally normal but that’s why we weren’t seeing anywhere close to the 3000 watts.
You Know But Again 4 4 Ohms.
We were getting anywhere from seven to a thousand watts on this and it was doing pretty good well. There you go guys you all saw it it did pretty dang good now do I still think it’s not as good as the American base elite I’m gonna say specs wise no but it. would be hard to tell I would have to get a elite. I never had the elite on this actual amp so again.
