This is an incredibly exciting day. This is stuff I have won to review for forever basically since I got my last American base sub, which was the American base elite that’s by the way that was an incredible sub, especially for the price but figured it was time to step it up so here. We have the American base UK dual 2-ohm so super excited about it. I really the big thing here is we’re gonna see how this compares to the audio pipe UK for this was 180 bucks.

for between 170 to 200 bucks just kinda depending on when and where you look so yeah We’re gonna be doing a full review of this and comparing that so stay tuned for this alright well let’s get into this box what kind of room here anymore, But we have our first box. Then we have another box and then an American base. Let’s not mess around with their boxes. Power Is Two Thousand Watt And They Have

the are best power at 1000 watts will let you all. Get a look at that okay Okay, let’s try to get this thing out of the box Oh boy well. We got the big load ribs around it was just like on the elite that’s exciting Oh guys Hey hey look at this now you’re not gonna build a telling video for this thing is huge let’s start from the top. We have our non-pressed paper cone that was reinforced really stiff dust cap very happy with that well once again we have this big old nice rib surround that was on the elite really really awesome looking surround and should you really give it some durability very stiff as you would expect from the top here looks exactly like the elite, but when we go over here to look at the baskets. We have a nice cast basket at the post of the elite.

We’ve got a nice painting through here really nice looking voice closed guys. I’ll try to get it closer to that here In a second really great looking voice coil. Then we’ve got the double stacked spiders or the double layer spiders and then one of my favorite things that’s these American bases. We do have the double tintal leads go into each coil so that is awesome.

I Love Seeing That And Then Last,

but not least we have this big old magnet. Now I’m not sure exactly what size it is. I think it’s fire around the 200 200 ounce maybe a little bit bigger um the elite and a 200 ounce magnet, but it was I think a little bit wider than this. Whereas this is a little bit deeper, So Yeah big old motor. I love it get a little closer look up at everything you can see we’ve got the double plates where the spider is We have the little dental leads really really really cool and then if you can look into here.

Lets See If Itll Focus Really Great

looking voice coil. I don’t know if it’s gonna focus or not oh Yeah there there it is there it is yep really great looking guys the glue looks awesome on it. Saul one consistency all the way through unlike the Rockville destroyer like that you know just looked kinda know it’s not the same consistency of. It has the lead to believe these are pin or eight gauge leads so that’s awesome alright guys so here we go we got the American base UK and of course, we have the audio pipe UK For now This wasn’t absolutely flawless sub um but I can say is that baskets but looking about the same both I’ve got great tensile leads we have the flat sewn in ones here whereas here we have the round double ones, but either way both seem to be great. The one place where I do see the American base being better is for the American base.

We Have The Aluminum Coil With The

black glue on it where as you probably can’t see now Yeah you really can’t see in there, but it is just the copper coils and they do not have the black glue on them, so we are definitely going to be putting this thing in here and playing it for a good week and really pounding on it just to make sure that it can you know withstand what the UK for took so yeah guys both these subs are really close in price. This really would be a head-to-head to see if the American base lives up to the legacy that the UK 4 has put on so yeah guys very exciting to see what this American base is gonna do well. Let’s get it in the box alright guys well. We have it in the box and for this one. interpreted it just because one it looks so freakin cool figured it’d be awesome to get it inverted and two.

We Really Want To See How Loud We

can get and normally inverting the sub well. One hope would be a little more air volume in the box and also help it be tuned a teeny bit lower since again it’s not taking up that space inside the box and it changes the tuning it should be about thirty Hertz with it inverted, but I’ve been playing the sub-like crazy and it’s been doing a great job, but anyway. The voice coils are literally flawless. There is no like glue bubbling or or anything these again. I don’t know.

American Bass Is Just Awesome From My Experiences

and there seems to be a really good quality voice coil, which of course the very important part of this sub anyway. This thing is crazy loud! I pushed this just as hard as I pushed my Rockville Destroyer, which is of course a two hundred and seventy dollar sub and it was a much beefier sub as opposed to this being $180 sub. Still pushing it on the UK UK mm so yeah well I’m gonna play some music and we’ll come back here and check out a little bit of the excursion alright guys We’ve got the meter hooked up and we have it on said to show you know the show the peak and we’re gonna be doing a 35-first test own from Sonic Electronix alright that’s having time get this thing to focus today anyway we’re down to volume about 32, so it’ll be a little bit below the maximum point. Just so we know we’re not clipping okay so we got 141 2. 7 we’re going to.

Try A 40 Hertz Test Tone And

we’re gonna see what that does all right So we got one 42.8 alright. So this thing seemed to pick a little bit higher, whereas the audio pipe UK four I got the best results at 35. This one I got better results at 40 Hertz. We got 40 2.

I think so almost a UK higher than when I got at 35 first mark well. I really want to see what all we can get out of this sub so I think I’m gonna pull the port out and make it as short as it’ll go and do another test and see what we get all right so we took out the whole extension section I think with that it’s 22 inches or something for us with this the port should be 8 inches, and it should be tuned to about 45. Hertz so we’re going to play a couple more test tunes and see how loud we can get ok so we’ve got the radio back on 32. We have the 40 Hertz test turn well let’s see what it’ll do okay so on the forty Hertz test zone.

We Actually Got A Little Bit Quieter But

that actually would be expected because again we’re tuned higher now we’re tuned about thirty-five Hertz so we’re gonna do with a thirty-five Hertz test tone and we’re gonna see if we’ll break that one forty-two point eight We got with the port longer let’s get to it alright guys well there we have it yeah one 45.6 I would say for UK you know that’s pretty impressive not too bad at all yeah guys. I’m pretty happy with that result. This sub is This sub is a beast alright guys well there you have it that was the American baseNK]. This is the new updated model.

This thing is incredible. I’m just telling you for a hundred eighty bucks you you won’t be disappointed. This thing is awesome gets really loud all the frequencies that sounded really good and yeah very very impressed again. This is probably my favorite sub I’ve done so far now I am gonna be comparing it to the UK for I know a lot of people were asking for that but first I’m going to be reviewing the scar UK and then I will compare the three of them.
