life and today We have a short review and I want to show you a couple things on this Roku wireless subwoofer. I just got this about a week ago and we’re gonna do a review on this so stick around alright Guys So this here is the Roku wireless subwoofer. This is actually a one of the part of Roku’s lineup for their wireless products. This recently just came out it’s not too long ago, but I decided to go ahead and name you know take a look at it and experience what their what the hype is here so. This is very easy to pair up very simple for anybody to do.

Basically.

You got three steps. You plug it in you pair it and you enjoy it. So this actually pairs up with the Roku Sound Bar which at the moment I haven’t made any any reviews for that one, but I want to start off first with the subwoofer here the sub-woofer here I just adds basically bass to the you know to your experience watching experience and kind of brings the surround sound a little bit more to life a little bit more reality of you know explosions and everything bass booming you know stuff that you wouldn’t hear what the regular speakers you hear with this so we have here let’s go with the extra this with the model number it’s actually the model number nine to zero one. There is two variances of this of this model.

There Is The One That Walmart Makes

which is the onn on brand and it’s independently you know made by a Walmart and then there’s. A Roku version of it So the on is actually supposedly Roku’s Test says that it has a little bit less power going to it, and this is a little bit more powerful one here enjoy It has low frequencies with thunderous response at any volume elevate your music from upbeat melodies to sofel instrumentals and enjoy deep resonant lows for music. You can feel a cinematic sound bringing movies and music to life with heart pumping bass and louder sound for theater like experience and easy. This is easy wireless setup no need to run your cables across your living room just plug in the power and pair it to your Roku sound bar. It says wireless clicks connects from 30 feet.

So this is this is where I would look at. This is a digital amplifier with a 200 peak power which is. 125 watts of UK and it’s also a 802 11 UK dual band wireless Pretty cool. What’s included Roku wireless subwoofer and the power cable what you should know.

Roku Wireless Subwoofer Is Designed To Work With

Roku Smart Sambar and other compatible Roku audio products. Design included standalone stream streaming capability. Let’s see the see here that this is a 10-inch subwoofer and which is one of the reasons why I got it let’s go ahead and get this out of the way here just waited to you feel this by the way the unboxing experience has been very good very well presented. It really is pretty easy and you can’t really mess this up and it makes it feel like a pinyin product alright. So here’s the actual Roku sub and it if you can feel it it feels pretty.

I Mean You Cant Feel It But.

It sounds pretty solid here. This is not like one of those cheap surround sounds that you purchase and whatnot that comes with five speakers like with this cheap oh crap and then about a couple years back Anyways. This is Phil. This is very solid very it’s got some weight to it.

The Bottom One Thing I Dont

like from this is it’s actually paper. This is the paper sub-woofer. I don’t like that but hey I mean maybe it sounds good right. But it is a 10-inch subwoofer which is which is pretty I mean look how look how much it takes the state. The size of that it uses all the size of it.

It Needs To Fit That 10

M sub on top we have here a rope. It has a little Roku logo it turns it back. We have just a power plug which. Just the two prong power plug that connects to like the UK one other Samsung UK anyways It has this is the built-in amplifier. I’m assuming and there’s like a little reset button on here that if you want to reset it to the connection and that’s really about it there’s not much to it.

This Like I Said.

This is pretty heavy so far from what I’ve been listening to it. It seems pretty good. I mean it’s one downfall that I will say about this if you look at this there is no port for it to exhaust its it could be a good thing. It can be a bad thing.

But If You Dont Have A Ported

enclosure you’re basically not allowing for the full capacity if you have surround sound or something you know music that has long bass notes. This is not gonna respond well. it and it’s not gonna be as loud so but with the sealed enclosure. You actually have the the benefits of a punchy bass. The bass that surround that response is pretty quick to like rock music–like drums.

This Would Be The The More

ideal. The more ideal selection for one thing. I didn’t show you. It just comes with like it says display cheap villages. It has really simple instruction so it tells you exactly what she needs is power of the subwoofer prefer to connect it and then follow the on-screen setup.

It Really Is Pretty Simple.

They made it very easy for you to do this and then they also included a sticker here. It says Roku and this is I love Roku. It’s kind of hard for you to see on camera, but yeah now the next step is I’m gonna be doing right. It’s no longer a part of the review, but I will be trying to tune it up a little bit with hopefully opening disassembling this up and Y’all gonna see that because there’s no other video showing that you know anybody disassembling.

The Roku Portion Im Very Curious

to see what’s what’s in there so stick around we’ll get to it alright alright so I know this is kind of close here, but here we’re gonna start off by laying this down here what I did is. I actually took off these rubber grommets a rubber feet actually I removed him out of here take them off and we’re exposed to some screws here in the bottom there Phillips head I remember to number one to know that wait a sec so I’ve already took in pretty much all of them off here. This is a plastic pretty hard plastic. One thing I want to point out Here is there is like soft rubber ish that rubber like foam in between here, which is cool because I mean this goes right back against the particle board here and it keeps the vibrations to a minimum. This one which is pretty cool next we have is the the paper subwoofer here.

This Has I Think What Eight Screws Take

this off here. It’s gonna fall apart on you so be careful screws out of the way and I mean this subwoofer has like a half good half not good the good part is you know kind of like that this edge. It’s very rubbery which is good, but the inner part is not it’s all papery when I take it out of here. It actually doesn’t weigh as much and here’s the the kind of the end result here and it’s. A little bit more upsetting because I just took a part of sub earlier today and that sub was a 8 inch sub and to be honest to do.

It Felt Having Way Heavier Than This

one here, which most likely you know and had a bigger bigger magnet. I’m pretty sure that the Brown was sewn in so it was high-quality sub woofer there but this is not the best it’s paper like I said but one thing that’s cool is that it still has these connectors and that means that probably we might be able to upgrade this to a real sub kind of those car subs might be able to put it in here and you know upgrade it there they’re just cool let’s move this out of the way here and here where we have the sub enclosure box here and let’s get you a better. Here it has that nice gasket here which is which is good because vibrations of course check this out though with this out of the way there we go there it’s just there’s nothing nothing there’s nothing in there it’s free open we have over here turn it into your is sort of like the power supply looks like the power comes in here jumps into this power supply board into this board here and then we have a an external output here that plugs into what is I believe the kinda like the main board for it down in the bottom and that they are all they’re all connectors that can be taken apart. So one thing is if one goes out something goes out you’ll be able to troubleshoot it. You know or replace it if needed and you don’t have a a bad sub you know what’s.

Up Just Laying There Whatever Another Thing

to point out is they they sealed the interior of it, which is pretty good there. So the interior is sealed and it builds a pretty decent box. I mean they built a pretty decent box here. I mean the quality is not bad because we think about it with span. This is this close for I bought it for like 130 140 dollars along with the the bar.

I Purchased A Bar With It So

anyways let’s. I want to show you the the main board here is something interesting here so. This is the main board in the back here and this basically is like a stick on sort of clip on. I got to be careful when you pull this out see if we can get it here breaking it alright awesome so there it is the the plastic part. Here what I’ve noticed is I already took it apart a little bit.

This Is This Is Actually Like Heat Exhaust

or whatever you wanna call it and this right here is actually a heat sink and I’m gonna remove this real quick. I don’t recommend removing this but I I mean I obviously did already and only because there is a heat sink in the back of it. I mean this is the heat sink for it. If you see there there’s the processor in the middle. Let me give you a better glimpse.

But This Is All Aluminum And

has a heat sink. The compound. Let me see if I can zoom in a little bit here. Alright and yeah guess what you see in the middle. There you must be right there so I don’t know what type of expansion or what type of UK that would.
